I would give this place more stars if I could. Villa De Sant is truly an amazing and incredibly comfortable hotel with a really cool vibe and beautiful artwork throughout the space. From the moment you walk in, it feels welcoming and relaxing. The best part of the experience has been Freddy at the front desk. He is honestly one of the sweetest and kindest people and easily the best front desk staff member I’ve ever experienced at any hotel. He goes far above and beyond what is normally expected, always being warm, helpful, and genuinely caring about guests. He really makes you feel at home and taken care of. They make your breakfast fresh every morning and it’s excellent, with good, strong coffee to get your day started haha. Everyone who works here is just so kind and welcoming, and the whole team creates an atmosphere that feels more like family than a hotel. Highly recommend staying here if you want a comfortable place with a great atmosphere and truly wonderful people. Super easy walk to the Mercado Artesanal and really cheap to Uber everywhere else.

What a gem in Quito! We felt like we stayed at a friends’ home. They really treat you warmly and Diego the manager is very welcoming. We stayed here when we just arrived to Quito and felt so comfortable. The art and the feel of the hotel is very unique and creative.

Fantastic customer service, Freddy from the front desk reached out early to see if I needed anything. He arranged an airport transfer for me. Even going as far as sending me a picture of the car that will be picking me up. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The walls were painted with murals that incorporated the room features (small windows,.etc) creating a very cozy atmosphere. Overall great experience. I only stayed here one night, but would definitely return (or stayed longer had schedule permitted)

I’ve been going regularly to Ecuador for over ten yrs. Villa de Sant was the very first hotel I stayed at. I usually spend a night at a hotel nearby the airport after landing (no recommendations) but and head directly into the Amazon the next morning but this time I decided to spend a few days and revisit this colonial style boutique hotel. It has improved from 10 years ago, from a hostel style to a real boutique hotel. Clean and convenient, helpful and friendly staff, nice breakfast, very safe (yes the extra measures are warranted - not that Puyo is more dangerous than other Latam cities, I never had a problem but it suffices of one time. It has an adorable little garden and is conveniently located with good restaurants all around.

From the moment I booked my stay at this property, I was already in constant communication with Freddy at the front desk for whatever questions I may have. Freddy set up my hotel pick both ways. It was easy and comfortable. Javier was also punctual as much as he can. I took the tram to the mountains to see the views of Quito then spent 4 hrs at the Middle of the World park. On my last day, Javier and I walked around Old Town & visited the Basilicas. Such a beautiful & clean city! Villa De Sant is perfectly located a few steps from the Artisanal market as well. Breakfast was free & great. At one point for my Cotopaxi trip, Diego (night shift) cooked me breakfast since I had to leave early for the tour. Hotel has a more personable family vibe. Very relaxing & comfortable. I didn’t feel unsafe even walking around the neighborhood. Lobby has lots of character depicting Ecuador on the paintings. Highly recommend this place when in Quito!

What a find! While waiting for a tour to start at a major hotel, I found this sweet little boutique hotel. The Staff is extraordinarily attentive and the place is beautiful, quiet, and amazing. Wooden beams and murals on all the walls. Safe walkable neighborhood - close to Plaza Foch which is a major hub for other shopping, dining, and transportation. Support locals, stay here!

Perfect secret in the heart of Quito.

From the moment we checked in, we were greeted at the door with a warm “hello” and kind welcome by Diego (who speakers awesome English). This little sanctuary in the heart of Mariscal was quiet, peaceful and “quirky” in the best of ways. We had just had along day of travel from The Galapagos, and when we asked Diego if they had wine, he ensured us it would be ready in 5 minutes. We settled into our room and came back to the beautiful lobby only to find a chilled bottle of wine and 3 glasses ready for us, as well as blankets to keep us warm. In the morning we were treated to a delicious handmade breakfast of fresh fruit, strong coffee, and a tasty omelette. We wish we could have stayed longer! -request the hot tub ahead of time, they’ll fill it for you! -use this location to enjoy the Mariscal Market and nearby parks and museums!

Se me contactó de manera previa a mi check-in para informarme que la habitación estaba lista, lo cual me parece un buen detalle. La atención ofrecida por Yadira (en especial), Diego, Freddy y Osvaldo fue muy atenta. El hotel, en general, estuvo bonito. Me gustó mucho su zona verde. Ofrecen traslados desde y hacia el aeropuerto. El desayuno estuvo muy bien. Como oportunidades: 1. El piso de madera suena mucho. 2. Las horas a partir de las cuales se sirve el desayuno -a mi criterio- no están adaptadas a la agenda de un turista. Pagué por 6 noches y solo tomé dos desayunos, pues se sirven a partir de las 8:00 am y tenía tours contratados que me obligaban a salir temprano.

Incredible staff and service

I can honestly say that all of the staff in this hotel are the most friendly I have experienced in any hotel - they became more like friends than staff by the end of my stay. They were willing to do whatever they could to help - cooking great meals, finding English football to watch on the TV, cleaning and drying my clothes after I came back from field work in the jungle covered in mud, and just generally being very chatty and friendly. I will certainly be returning here next time I'm in Quito. Thank you to all of them for being so welcoming.
