"Great location in a flat part of town and walkable to everything in the Historic Area. Good restaurants and plenty of public transportation. The receptionist was expecting us and we felt welcome immediately. A nice young man took our heavy suitcases to the room and retrieved them at check-out time. The waiters in the breakfast room are professional and pleasant. Nice menu choices and the food and coffee all excellent. MY only suggestion is to supply a hot water kettle and coffee/tea in the room. We will return to this hotel on our next visit to Guanjuanto. "

"Hotel de la Paz offers the most ideal location. You are at the heart of Guanajuato and within walking distance to all the best restaurants, museums, bars, parks, and markets. The breakfast options and service are excellent! Our room was spacious, the shower water was hot and plentiful, and the daily maid service was appreciated. The hotel’s central location means it can be noisy at night with the singing, music playing, motorcycles revving their engines, and general revelry in the streets, but we just turned up our white noise app volume to drown it out. We loved Guanajuato and would again choose this hotel if we visit another time! "

"DO NOY STAY HERE! This hotel had closed down and for some reason “reopened”. I get that it’s not the employees fault, they are doing the best they can, but I absolutely would not recommend! And this, is after they had changed us to a “better” room. Please save yourself the hassle and headache. "
