"I have fallen in love with this resort. It is so well kept and clean. I was in an adults only room/area and the jacuzzi and view were a treat. My room was taken care of everyday and the jacuzzi was cleaned every other day. The bed was so comfy!! Breakfast was a beautiful buffet with delicious Costa Rican options as well as treats like pancakes and waffles which were freshly made on the spot. I joined yoga every morning at 8am and Mary Lou and Monica were so lovely to meet and very knowledgeable instructors. I loved the yoga all week!! The pools are beautiful but the beach is even better. It was so nice to have a lounge chair on the property and enjoy the view all day. I even saw howler monkeys, lizards and an iguana as well as cute squirrels and interesting blue and white birds by the spectacular guanacaste tree in the beachside restaurant. The staff would so warm and friendly and helpful. I can’t wait to return. "

"Do not book this resort with Expedia if traveling with children! I had a very unpleasant experience when I was requested to pay double of what I originally paid through Expedia at the reception when checking in. I booked a 6 night stay at RUI Palace for one adult and two children 16 and 14 years old staying in 1 room. Expedia sent me a receipt confirming booking for 1 Adult and 2 children, but they sent my booking to RUI as 1 adult and 2 infants. When checking in I was told that there is an issue with my booking and I owe them a ridiculous amount of money to pay for my two children. Later it was brought down to a more reasonable amount. I argued that it was not my mistake and showed them a receipt where it says 2 children. The manager said that it happened several times before and it’s not their problem. No refunds will be issued, so I had no choice but to pay. It is RUI problem and they need to figure this out with Expedia. It’s as simple as sending people receipts specifying the ages of the children. "

"Great time at Margaritaville! I travelled with teenage kids and everyone had an unforgettable time. We loved the location of the resort right on the beach and being able to move between pool and beach. The beach is beautiful and not busy. The pool area has great character with people gathering around the bar and easy to make friends. The staff is really nice, especially the bar tenders at the pool - I loved the make your own Margarita time! Rooms are well appointed and very functional with plenty of storage. The common areas are ample, clean and have a lot of sitting to hang out. There are activities organized by the resort for everyone to enjoy. The only thing that could be improved is the breakfast choices and quality as well as the sitting in the restaurant. "

"We had a wonderful stay at Jardín del Edén. The property is very well maintained, with stunning views throughout. The staff were consistently warm, welcoming, and attentive. The food exceeded our expectations. The breakfast buffet offered a nice mix of daily variety along with staples like an egg and waffle station, fresh fruit, bread, and Gallo Pinto. Dinners were fresh, flavourful, and offered great variety over the course of our stay. We also enjoyed several of the wellness activities, including yoga, sound healing, and salsa lessons. All were well organized and suitable for all experience levels. The location is excellent, right in the heart of Tamarindo. It was easy to walk to shops, a grocery store, and the Thursday night moonlight market. Overall, a relaxing and enjoyable stay. We will definitely be back!"

"Beautiful property on a hill with infinity pool overseeing the ocean! All ocean view rooms, amazing breakfast each day and access to a great beach front club with gym, pool, beach. The club is however at a a different location than the main property and the hotel provides with hourly transport to and fro. The rooms are dated and bathrooma rather small and old. "
