It is a bit remote so good idea to bring games and snacks if traveling with kids. "Hung up in unbelievable traffic in Santa Cruz, I was not able to check into the hotel until 7 AM the next day when they reopened. So I don't have the overnight experience one expects. That said, the room was very clean, the shower had good hot water, and I did get a morning nap on the bed. Fort7nately, it is off the road a bit. But noise carries and young Costa Ricans love their motorcycles. So if you are super noise sensitive that might bother you, but the traffic is really light on that...

"Food was great and definitely made the experience better. There was lots of hammering and construction going on so that made the stay not so relaxing. Seemed difficult to get towels, they never answer front desk phone and the hot water is hit and miss. Property is nice, beach access was easy and the pools were clean. Area is remote so arrange transportation before arriving as the property is 2+ hours away from Liberia Airport."
