"Our first trip to Ouray. We enjoyed our stay at Box Canyon Lodge. It looked updated, nice decor and comfortable bed. We had our pet with us so we were given a pet friendly room on ground level. We could see it had been stayed in by other pets because of scratches and chewed spots on the furniture. I also noticed the flooring was a bit soiled. Our pet accidentally knocked his travel bowl of water on the floor and when I wiped it up the napkin was very dirty. Other areas of the room were very clean like the bathroom and higher surfaces. Clean bed, sheets and pillows. It had all the amenities we like in a room and it was walking distance to shops and restaurants. We are already planning to return next year with family."

"Lucked into this place in the off season at a significant discount. Well appointed comfortable room with many amenities including a covered parking garage and easy walking distance to the town of Telluride. Telluride reminds me of Park Ciyy on steroids...the mountsin views are SPECTACULAR!"

"If you like to ski and want to make it easy! No better place, the hotel ski valet with a door right out to two lifts can’t be beat at their pricing! There is a sports restaurant and bar in the hotel with a patio overlooking the bottom of the lifts! Large hotel hot tub (more like a dipping pool size). Great view of mountains from the hot tub! Shower md sauna just inside! It’s a simple hotel but has all you need to have a great ski trip! Staff was excellent! I was not impressed with the breakfast as I am an egg and bacon guy but I think most would be happy! Cereal, bagels, granola, yoghurt (unfortunately not Greek), American bread.. Being in town gives you easy access to restaurants, convenience stores and bars! My room was large with a large bathroom and the largest bathtub I have seen! "
