「The pool was nice. Breakfast was fine we had to wait pretty long for towels etc— when they were delivered the wash cloths were grey and very stained - looked like cleaning rags. Also, while I understand dogs are permitted, I don’t think they should be in the area while breakfast is being served. Overall, it was disappointing considering the cost of the room.」

「I stay here a lot. The traveling band I play with plays in OBX much of the summer.Rooms are always clean and comfortable. Staff is always friendly and helpful. The location is good for someone looking to spend time on the beach. The free breakfast is always a good way to start the day. I will continue to stay here as long as I visit the OBX.」

「We stayed in a condo . It was clean and got beautiful direct beach views . The only issue we noticed is the dishwasher and few other things in kitchen seemed pretty old and rusted !」

「I stayed here in the early 1980s, when I was in my early teens. It has been upgraded since then, but still provided that wonderful nostalgic feeling I had when I first visited the Outer Banks! I wanted my kids to experience this as well, so we booked a room for several days. We stayed in a courtyard room, which was still very quiet and comfortable, despite being next to the entrance drive. Unlike most beach motels, parking was NEVER an issue! We always had a spot close to the room. The room...

「I had asked for the room to be serviced atleast 4 times. Although front desk staff was very polite and said it’s called in, they never did. It was the same situation for the other family we traveled with. So essentially lived in uncleared bathroom which got full of sand and no way of cleaning it.」
