We were very excited to stay at this hotel and came in with high expectations. The first thing I disliked was being told I had to wear an uncomfortable plastic wrist band during the entire stay. These open your room doors and reception was unable to give any other type of key or card. Next, the room wasn't super clean, mainly dust. We overlooked it. The beds were clean and that was most important. The vending machine on our floor was out of all waters or Powerade. There is no microwave or coffee maker in the rooms. You're expected to share a community microwave with the rest of the floor. This doesn't work for us with a food allergy (not to mention it's just gross). But the main problem we had, and the reason we packed up at 10pm and drove home all night, is the noise. The parking lot was loud and able to be heard through the 5th floor windows. There were TONS of people running up and down the halls yelling and playing tag. Teens were sitting in the hall outside the rooms talking at all hours. The quiet times are supposed to be 11-7. After sleeping horribly the first night we didn't want that to happen again, hence the late night drive home. Desk personnel seemed unsympathetic when she asked how our stay was and I told her we were leaving early because of the noise. The arcade and duck bowling were fun and nice to have on property. Unfortunately we would not return to this resort.

We came in an “off season” in April so I understood more since the pool was just opened, but there wasn’t enough staff to accommodate the kiddy pool and slide, and we had one nice day where it didn’t rain and our kids had to wait a couple hours. We also went to a couple events and story time and no one was around, so I’m not sure if they just cancelled events, but that would be my only comment on the facility. Everything else was fine.

We have not stayed here in a while. They have added on a lot of fun stuff to do. The kid/family activities are amazing the staff really make it fun. It was a little chilly the first 2 days we participated in most of the activities. The outside pool is still the same and still a lot of fun. Our room was one of the 4bunk beds, which the kids loved and so did we that left the main area for the adults. The little scavenger hunt in the room ended quickly because of the 18 year old, it was still fun Their sister location was normal our go to their indoor pool is very nice. Country cascade will be our new favorite

Our kids had the best time! Arcade, dance parties every night & several children’s activities daily. Ice cream shop, pizza place, breakfast rest all on site! Not to mention the water slides, pool & kiddie water play center which my 4 & 7 year old loved! Only downfall was huge chorus group had some teens on our floor & they were very loud nightly & we could def hear them late at night.

I wish we had better weather to utilize the pool and slides more, but there was plenty to keep the kids entertained. The hourly events, treats, food and arcade onsite made it a great stay.

Great for families, the water slides & heated pool were a hit with the kids. Clean & spacious rooms, friendly staff, affordable rates. Only downside was there's no free coffee in the mornings, must purchase from cafe. Will definitely stay here again in future.

This property was the worse hotel I have ever been it charge you even for your smile. It lies when you look online it say the they have inside pool and jacuzzi but the truth is that there is no pool, also it say that includes breakfast and you have to pay for it. I do not recommended this hotel.

Cute resort. Although i was not really impressed with their housekeeping policy. They sell popcorn but do not clean rooms during our 3 night stay. They only bring new towlels and change the garbage. They do not make beds or vacuum...Also the treasure chest was broken and not attached to the wall. The children had a wonderful time. We were very comfortable in our room..beautiful decor and comfortable beds & pillows. The lifeguard at the pool was very kind, along with the young man making the pizza. The fire alarm went off at 8 am on our 2nd night and we had to vacate the building and was never informed as to the reason why, and it took several minutes of standing outside in the cold without shoes or coats before we ever heard fire trucks. They do not have phones, microwaves or coffee pots in the rooms, and only 1 little store that sells coffee

We enjoyed our stay at Country Cascades! The staff was super friendly and helpful. The activities were fun for the kids. The only thing was for a room to accommodate 6 people it was a little small. It’s a convenient location that you can walk to The Island and many other area attractions if you like.

We stayed for 5 days had a great time. They activities and shops inside the resort so we were never bored. Would definitely recommend for kids. They are also building an indoor water park, can’t wait to come back for that!

Our stay was for 4days 3nights Towels and tp were always restocked and all the staff seemed to be friendly and excited to be there. No complaints on our trip. Parking the first night was interesting due to construction.

Staff was great. Food wasn’t anything special, my coffee was cold and the water tasted like chlorine at their breakfast restaurant. The bedding wasn’t what the picture shows, they are all country quilts that housekeeping is supposed to swap between people however I never saw housekeeping taking the quilts out of the rooms they were cleaning. The soda machine was out of diet soda most of my stay so wasted $20 on the travel cup. Overall ok experience but probably wouldn’t come back. It’s not for 13-14 yr olds definitely more 5-10 year olds.

We all go on vacation but what the neighbors do can be heard inside the room. It's the only bad thing. You can't sleep with a lot of noise.
