"We stayed at the Arbutus Inn for one night and had a great experience. The location is very convenient — it’s in a quiet area, yet close to major transportation routes and not far from downtown Victoria. This made getting around very easy. The room had everything we needed, and the microwave was especially helpful during our stay. We were also very impressed with the staff — they were friendly, welcoming, and provided excellent service. Overall, everything was perfect, and we would definitely recommend this place!"

"Our room was not cleaned. The bedside table had not been wiped as there was residue from previous guests. I was horrified to find a dirty beach towel hanging in the bathroom - how does something like that get missed by housekeeping??"

"We chose to stay at your hotel specifically because we had an early flight and needed a good night’s rest. Unfortunately, our room was located right next to what appeared to be an ongoing party that continued well past midnight. There was constant noise—banging, loud voices, and items being dropped—which made it feel as though it was happening right outside our door. We were under the impression this is a hotel frequently used by guests with early flights. Is there not a designated quiet hours policy in place? As a result, we got virtually no sleep, which is extremely disappointing—especially for a short 10-hour stay at over $300 per night. We were also unable to take advantage of the included breakfast due to our early departure. This experience has left us quite dissatisfied, and unfortunately, it makes us unlikely to choose your hotel again."

"Clean, fun , peaceful , relaxing, colorful vibes were my style. The pool was warm , hot tub jets worked great, yard clean, dog treats for my dog with towel , loved the coffee in the warm, grandmas basement was fun. Enjoyed the restaurant really delicious food. Parking was good ! Disliked police cars there but guess you never know who’s staying there. "
