"A beautiful hotel right outside the gates of historical Lucca. We enjoyed a walk into the city and felt safe returning back home to the hotel after a late dinner. Modern and clean rooms and lovely staff. A great breakfast."

"The room was great. Clean, spacious, cool design. The staff was helpful getting a iron and ironing board arranged for the room. I deducted a star, mainly due a street noise issue. It seems a popular food/snack bar that stays open late cater to people leaving the bars after close and returning to their cars in the parking lot is located just a couple doors down from the property. This means there is significant crowd noise coming from the street between 02:00 to as late as 04:00 on the Friday and Saturday nights that we stayed at the property (it was not an issue on the Thursday night). Nothing can be done by the property or staff about this, but I think it is an important detail to consider for others potentially looking at staying here."

Breakfast was extremely basic and needed to get better coffee at the cafe across the street. But over all room was clean and quiet."
