「Right after check in I was immediately told the pool was out of service. When I opened the room door, the smell of wet dog and old cigarettes kicked me in the face harder than a Chuck Norris round house to the chin. The carpet looked wet and more like linoleum than fibers. The pillows were stained more yellow than a smokers teeth. We had roaches coming out from under the bed and bathroom as a welcome committee. 「The breakfast offers a great variety and is delicious. The rooms are large and clean. The bathroom is spacious and clean, and comes stocked with shampoo, conditioner, and liquid soap for guests. The location is excellent, close to Texas Tech. I really liked the hotel. Whenever I return, I will stay here again.」

「Housekeeping did the best they could do with the room. Our room was on the 2nd floor and had several sunk in spots. As the upstairs walkway was EXTREMELY cracked, it makes sense that cracks run under the flooring in the rooms. The faucet in the sink is not solidly mounted. A wild trail of a gooey substance was at the top of the stairs and on every step down. Maybe leaking trash? The young man who checked us in was great. The location was convenient. 「Staff and property were amazing. Beds were comfortable although the comforters were a little warm. We got the last double queen room and it turned out to be accessible one. Not having a bathtub wasn’t the issue. I wish we had a longer shower curtain (unless it’s a rule to have short ones for wheelchair accessible bathrooms) or more towels to help catch all the water because it goes EVERYWHERE. We kept slipping on the wet tile and it became hazardous for us in return. I’ll be sure to ask if...
