「Room was expensive considering there was nothing extra special about it. The hot tub was nice. Breakfast was okay, but we have had better at other hotels. Upon arrival, we were told our reservation had been cancelled, even though i had a confirmation number on my Expedia app & 2 weeks prior I spoke to an employee that said he wasnt able to even see reservations that were made on Expedia to confirm/deny/cancel them. When we stayed here, there was road construction between the lake and the motel, which blocked the view a bit and made accessing the parking lot more of a challenge, but I’m assuming that will be completed shortly.」

「This place goes downhill every single year. We stay with a group for Christmas for the last 15 years. Wallpaper is peeling, you are charged for a “resort fee” but the pools aren’t even always working. Dining is subpar. Rooms are very dated and getting worse every year. I think it’s time for our family to move on from thumper pond. 」
