Best Western Premier The Tides

"The staff were very friendly and helpful. The facility was poorly maintained. The pool was not heated only one of two elevators were working and it would stop at every floor even if no one was waiting very unsafe. We chose to take the stairs for ninety percent off our stay. We were on the fifth floor. Lastly there was no coffee service in the room and no house keeping service for the duration of our stay. Hotel is at best a one star very disappointing."

"The room was not as pictured when booking. Thought it was more like a suite with couch and chair. Had a chair and desk instead. When asked, they had no rooms to offer. Rooms were only cleaned every other day and had to ask for additional wash rags for days it was not replenished. Non working exhaust fan in bathroom made everything wet. AC unit by the wall was leaking and floor near it was saturated with water."

"We went first week in June, we could only get in the gulf water on Monday, double red flags the remainder of the week. Think carefully if you’re considering renting chairs and umbrella. No refunds. Be prepared to walk a long distance if you want to self park, which is $15 a day. Paul from Safety and Security is one awesome dude and went out of his way to fix a couple issues that came up. Hannah did a great job addressing our concerns and made me believe they do care. The Perches restaurant is over priced in my opinion. The separate child pool is a great idea."

"I was stuck on the elevator with about 8 others fir about 7 minutes. And then it was out of service the remaining stay. When we checked out, it took several trips up and down stairs with our luggage. My partner is 79 years old and this made it very difficult to enjoy!"

"This hotel is dog friendly and clean. Sometimes it’s hard to find both. The staff was helpful and professional. The location was the best part for us, we loved the gulf view. The only complaint was the elevators were very slow; there’s was always at least one out of order."

"Staff was friendly and helpful as they could be, other than the maintenance guy who rode around on an obnoxiously loud motorcycle, even well into the evening. Dirty and slippery floors, poor quality LVP chosen for floor and poor installation job. Toilet was crooked, no ventilation in the bathroom of any kind to remove steam, some areas of the walls were cracking, A/C system was developing mold in the vents, lighting was poor, the mattress had already developed pits where others had slept, and the walls may as well have been made of paper when it comes to noise control. You hear ever car pass by, every conversation outside, and every door close. They put all of their money into the fancy lobby and nothing else."
