「 Great stay」

「Great value for money. We had a great stay and would return. The property outside needs a little attention and our bathroom floor was very “spongy” and needs someone to look at it. We forgot to tell them on leaving. The food was brilliant, breakfast was excellent. 」

「Generally very good. One night stay for a car show at Carmarthen Showground. Parking - access i stight to some spaces but plenty to chose from. Check-in - good, friendly, polite an dquite quick. Entry to room - this let the stay down, the room had not been cleaned from previous guests, check-in staff very concerned and helpful, asked to wait in the bar whilst room was prepared and free round of drinks due to issue. Room - comfortable but needs a little attention e.g. with toilet lid up you...

「Obviously a lot of effort has been made by the new owners to create a comfortable and upgraded environment. They are working hard and constantly on what was obviously a worn down building. Looking out from the room the gardens and view is spectacular. The room was large and comfy with great, instant hot water and lovely deep bath. Authentic home cooked curry was delicious.」

「Food is excellent and beds are very comfy. It's old-fashioned in that it's a conversion of an older building, so windows are single-glazed and the doors open with actual keys. But the rooms have everything you'd expect from a professionally run establishment. Staff are all friendly and professional though you sometimes have to seek them out – hardly surprising as there are only six rooms so they can't have someone permanently on duty.」

Shared bathroom and kitchen, which was expected based on price and photos, but not clear in details and another guest hadn’t assumed this and caused a big scene on check in. Wasn’t dirty, but could have been cleaner. Beds were comfy, but sheets smelt damp. Air con didn’t work in our room or another room that was empty. Free parking. Walking distance of the town centre which has takeaways. Kinda average stage. But cheapest around」

「Lovely stay at Lamphey Hall .Tim met us and we instantly felt welcome, he is such a good host , welcoming everyone and engaging in conversation about our trip , letting everyone know about the area and what is going on . Breakfast was lovely, well organised and plentiful. We will definitely be staying again .」
