Volcano Lodge Hotel & Thermal Experience

10/10 Excellent

"The breakfast was really good had plenty of local options to choose from. Property itself is amazing especially the hot springs. They're the highlight. My wife and I spent a majority of stay soaking between the different hot springs and the pool area. Highly recommend!"

Chachagua Rainforest Hotel & Hot Springs

10/10 Excellent

"This place is beautiful We arrived very late after long detour through the jungle, and Brian was waiting for us So helpful in getting to our room and baggage and was booking any tours or excursions. I would definitely recommend this place and Brian will take care of you. The breakfast is out of this world as well, so good and so many options The restaurant overlooking the Hot Springs is so relaxing and to eat your breakfast and look out and see it is beautiful I will definitely be coming back"

Baldi Hot Springs Hotel and Spa

8/10 Good

"Checking was easy and we felt welcomed by the staff. There is security everywhere so always felt very safe. Our room was clean and spacious, the bathroom was fine but there was no handheld in the shower and the bathtub has a high ledge. They are very strict about their towels and are careful to explain we would be charged if any went missing. I get it, but the pool towels get wet quickly and never dry so I wasn’t exactly sure what to do with those. Parking was easy and free. The food at the buffet restaurant was unimpressive. The food at the Virgita restaurant was very good and the included breakfast has many options. The staff at both places were very kind and welcoming. There were hardly any guests when we were there and on one hand I was glad not to be surrounded by people at all the pools etc, it also felt a little dead. The various pools were fun. If you go down the water slides be sure to plug your nose because the plunge into the pool at the end will send so much water up your nose you’ll choke! Overall it was an enjoyable stay and the property was nice."

Hotel Lomas del Volcán

10/10 Excellent

"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely Beautiful Resort – Highly Recommend! What a beautiful resort! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the stunning property and the overall atmosphere. The entire resort was absolutely gorgeous, and every detail added to its charm. The pools were beautiful, clean, and heated, which made them even more enjoyable. The staff was incredibly friendly, helpful, and welcoming throughout our stay. Our housekeeper was wonderful and trustworthy, and our room was always spotless, with fresh, clean beds to come back to each day. One of our favorite experiences was enjoying breakfast with such a breathtaking view! The food was absolutely delicious, not just at breakfast but throughout our entire stay. I truly cannot say enough good things about this resort. We have absolutely no complaints! It was such a pleasure spending our vacation in a beautiful town while staying at an equally beautiful resort. Everything about our experience made our trip even more memorable. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. Thank you for making our vacation so special! ❤️"

Finca Luna Nueva Lodge

10/10 Excellent

"This place was magical. The staff is friendly and helpful. The food was fresh and delicious. The breakfast buffet had a lot of excellent choices. The trails were great, bird watching station was incredible with so many colorful birds and we saw a sloth up close as we left the trails. I wish we had booked a longer stay. Loved everything about it."
