Top Peacock Lounge Hotel Reviews
FOUND Hotel Carlton, Nob Hill
8/10 Good
"You can definitely tell it used to be an older place, as most SF hotels. Rooms are small but good for the price. Very comfortable beds, although it was hot in the room. Good stay for one night. Friendly staff."
The Pickwick Hotel
8/10 Good
"Tired basic hotel. Clean and fairly good value for money. Air con worked but rattled a bit. We had no cleaning service on Sunday just a bit under the door saying due to high occupancy we are unable to service your room. I had to phone and go down for more coffee pods. Choice maker and small fridge in rooms which was nice. Very good location with bus rides and train station all 2 minute walk. Large supermarket within 7-10 min walk."
Casa Loma Hotel
8/10 Good
"This is not the most glamorous hotel, but it has what you need - a clean room, bed and bathroom. It is also pretty easy access to almost everywhere in the city via public transport, and walkable to many places too. The staff were friendly and helpful! I also liked they had a nice coffee machine in the lobby that offered a lot of options. No AC, which I knew booking, so the room can get a little stuffy during the day. Overall a little snug, especially for two people maneuvering in the room. The bathroom sink is so incredibly small that I used the shower to wash my face at night so I wasn’t splashing water all over the bathroom. We made it work though and had a good experience here!"
Grand Hyatt San Francisco
10/10 Excellent
"Very nice hotel! Right in Union Square. Beds were very hard and pillows kind of sucked. But overall the rooms were nice and very clean. We were on the 29th floor which was a cool view Parking is horrible and because we have a bigger truck they couldn’t valet it and had no idea how to help us and just kind of left us to figure it out, Thankfully we found ONE garage down the street that took bigger vehicles (thanks ChatGPT for finding it)."
Chancellor Hotel on Union Square
10/10 Excellent
"The Chancellor Hotel has a great location on the Powell Street cable car line, half a block from Union Square and four blocks from Market Street. It's an old hotel, built 100 years ago, so the hallways are irregular and the elevator seems ancient. But everything works. The hotel doesn't serve breakfast -- I recommend the croissants at One65 on O'Farrell Street, two blocks away -- but it does serve drinks at night. They also offer cookies, apples, a coffee machine and lemon-infused cold water in the lobby (although a couple of times they were out of the water). They also have a machine in the lobby to fill water bottles. The hotel notes that they don't have air conditioning. That's generally not a problem. The rooms do have ceiling fans that help when it's warm. I'd stay there again."
Symphony Inn
8/10 Good
"Wasn’t bad, wasn’t amazing , it was convenient . Parking was a plus. Older up and coming neighborhood."
The Metro Hotel
8/10 Good
"Staff were wonderful. We had the double bed room on the front of the building. Thank goodness because the only way to get cool air was to have the windows open which made the noise level very loud through the night. The location was perfect, surrounded by great coffee and restaurants, and walking to surrounding neighborhoods full of things to do. If you stay, highly recommend getting a larger room with good window access."
The Grove Inn
10/10 Excellent
"The place is well located, nice enough room. Don’t place the glass water bottle in the mini fridge, it was way too cold and made a mess!"
Twin Peaks Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Great staff"
