"The staff was very helpful and the room was kept very clean. Just a note the pool is not suitable for lap swimming but great for lounging. I would recommend that the hotel put in a small motion sensitive light in the bathroom. Those 2 things aside I enjoyed my stay."

"Although my friend and I booked our rooms at Hotel Garrett separately, the front office clerk was able to accommodate our last minute request to be on the same floor. The housekeeping staff was very respectful of the Do Not Disturb sign. Room was perfect since its purpose was to be a comfortable place to come and rest after a full day of being out. The area around the hotel was surprisingly quiet for being in the city. The only wish is to have an ATM machine inside the hotel. Went across the street to the sister hotel, SOMA House for cash. Would definitely recommend to others."

"I’ve staid in the Casa Loma a few times over the years while visiting family in SF. The rooms are small but definitely not claustrophobic, most importantly they’re clean and well stocked with towels, soap, etc. The surrounding neighborhood is beyond charming. Plenty of markets, take out, and laundromats on the same street to keep you supplied and comfortable if you’re staying for a long weekend or a few days. Just a wonderful experience every time I’ve visited. "
