This place is a great value. Free parking but it is limited so get in early. The spots can be tight as well. The lot is VERY well lit. The room was clean and quiet. I was at the end of the 2nd floor sharing a wall that was on Grove on a Friday night to give some context to the quiet. The bed and pillows were pretty good too even when compared to higher priced places as I slept well (bed was not saggy, pillows were not flat).

Clean, no frills and about what you should expect for $100/night. A few issues: old AC that was extremely noisy, broken shower handle and a mattress as hard as a slab of marble.

Clean room. Very convenient to symphony, SFJazz, opera with free parking. Great value for the money. Staff was very pleasant and responsive.

Pros: Staff were very kind and accommodating. Excellent location Beds and pillows were comfy Mini fridge, microwave, nice sized closet w iron were nice amenities Cons: Room smelled moldy so we needed to air it out. It was hard to get faucet water to a warm temp - either too hot or cold TV would not properly connect to Netflix even though this standard for this type of TV - would repeatedly freeze. Staff said the TVs are not supposed to connect to Netflix even though it is clearly a listed option. Overall: for the price - weekend, SF - $110/night - it is still nice for a more budget hotel. 4/5

The staff was very nice. The room was big and comfortable. It needed a couple of small fixes that were dealt with immediately. You can tell they care about their property and stay. So many restaurants to choose from.

The staff was kind; the room was tidy. Unfortunately there was obviously a longstanding maintenance issue that had not been addressed. Black-appearing mold was evident on the bathroom ceiling above the shower head. This is a health issue that shouldn’t be ignored.

The so called “Owner” (man working the front desk) is incredibly rude. This place also has one of the strangest policies I’ve ever heard of. The policy is also not clearly stated when you reserve with them so beware! You have to dig through their Expedia page to find it. The policy claims that the person who paid for the reservation needs to be the same person who reserves the hotel. In my case my boyfriend paid and I used my Expedia account to make the reservation so it was under my name. Although upon check in my boyfriend and I both provided our IDs and my boyfriend also provided the exact credit card he used to pay for the booking, the man at the front desk still did not allow us to check in. We had to find another place and he did not give us a refund. It was the most ridiculous thing I have ever experienced at a hotel.

It was nice place for the budget. Room felt decent and free parking is a great plus if you need it. Staff were friendly. There are few homeless people roaming around on the streets next to the property. However, it felt safe though. Complimentary Toiletries could be of better quality.

This is a hidden gem in San Francisco. It doesn’t look like much from outside but it was stylish, comfortable, clean and quiet. Parking was great. Water pressure was great. Whole visit was great. Highly recommend.
