「Couldn’t get a table for dinner. Had to eat from a low table in reception. We could see the dining room and there were empty tables all night. Not very successful. Not what you need after a six hour journey. Think there was problems in the kitchen. We could not get an answer from reception as we couldn’t find the car park. Had to ask a local.」

「Really lovely stay, location is great, atmosphere from the pub, staff were really warm and relaxing. Room was nice, comfy, the hallway outside had no light at own door which made it tricky to find key, but really minor but would be great to add. However no issues and had such a great stay, ate dinner and breakfast in the pub and the staff were attentive, food was great. Would 100% stay again! 」

The family room is clean and tidy and spacious.A bit of challenge for family with heavy luggage as upper floor room got no lift. If the toilet has a larger mirror and the dining table larger for a family of four, the hotel deserves 6 of the full mark is 5.The hotel is close to the Lumley Street (the main shoppinh street).」

「The Eastleigh was an easy base for a few days away: two minutes from the pier and beach but tucked far enough up Scarbrough Avenue that you don’t hear arcade noise at night. We rolled in late morning, snagged an on-street space outside and never moved the car again. The room was spotless and practical—ceiling fan for stuffy evenings, mini-fridge with cold water and the check-in took seconds. The Wi-Fi was usable but a bit flaky, dropping in and out, so fine for quick checks but not much more....
