Clean room, beautiful place

What a beautiful town and what kind people. A lovely walk away from the world-famous Assisi. Kind people, beautiful views and delicious food!

Assisi is an old world town. The hotel has wonderful views! The restaurant was excellent, dessert looked like art and tasted incredible!

This was our second visit to the beautiful LaTerrazza. Again, it did not disappoint. From the moment you enter the lobby, you are treated as if you were the only guest in the hotel. The staff is welcoming and helpful. Our room was clean and beautifully appointed. Our private terrace allowed us full views of the Mouth Subasio valley as we sat and sipped wine in the evening. This time, we visited with our son and his wife. Our son has celiac disease so gluten free foods are his only...

Beautiful hotel, excellent staff, amazing food, QUIET. Sitting in the hot tub amidst the ruins of a Roman amphitheater was beyond all great travel experiences. Excellent chef, with a respectful eye towards organic and local tradition. Restaurant is a bit expensive, but far superior to the tourist restaurants in the center. Beautiful breakfast buffet, homemade pastries, and bread like bread should be made. The experience is worth every penny.

It was a great stay and we loved the resident cat! The only problem we had was the inconsistency with WiFi. Anyone who needs total access at all times should not stay here. Otherwise I would have given a + rating. Assisi was one of our favorite places to visit in Italy and we highly recommend for all to stay here. Note: town closes down by 8:30-9:00pm. Oh almost forgot they have parking and the bus stops are right close to hotel!

excelente ubicación,

Our room had the best view of the valley. It was spacious and super clean.

What a VIEW! we had room 26 with a cutely decorated balcony facing the valley with a gorgeous bell tower standing guard. it was so peaceful Three minutes easy walk into town with dining, shopping and sites to see. The owners made us feel like family. Everyone so happy and friendly. Fantastic breakfast. Rooms were very up to date and artistically decorated. Would love to go there again!

Excellent!! Nice breakfast, room very clean, WiFi and AC available.

Castello Di Monterone is a small castle that has outfitted into an 11-12 room hotel. The rooms are small but comfortable with high quality bathrooms, windows, etc. There are lots of little alcoves, inside and out, to hole up in. Great view of Perugia from across the valley, and the city itself is only a few minutes away (although it's one of the more maze-like experiences to try to get into the city center.) Wi-Fi works well, although it's broken into a handful of small zones, owing I...

Booked last minute on our trip to Assisi not really knowing about this gem, but turned out to be the best! Very friendly staff. The location is just the best if your planing a trip to Assisi. The views are amazing and your not far from the basílica of st francis and Maria degli angeli. The best !

Assisi is a wonderful medieval town, and Hotel Pax is a cozy, friendly, and well-run place to stay there. My girlfriend and I were the only guests on our first night there, and the owner stayed late to check us in, as we had a bit of trouble getting there on the bus system. She was extremely friendly and helpful, and she told us some of the town's and hotel's history as we ate breakfast. We stayed for two nights, and the owner helped us find the major attractions and arranged for our cab back...

The most lovely staff and a wonderful location. Breakfast was everything you could hope for in a start to your day.

Hotel Umbra is a perfect location just off the Piazza Commune under an arch across from the Information center where you can park briefly to unload. Despite it being on the piazza, it's very quiet and incredible views. They have a lovely panoramic terrace on level 1 which is private and lovely with a view of the valley and several lounge chairs. A great place for an afternoon glass of wine. The family that operate it are very helpful and seem to take great pride in their hotel. Several good...

This accommodation tops ALL the places we’ve stayed in Italy. The staff are gracious and so hospitable. Incredibly welcoming. The room, building, the terraces…all first class. Breakfast in the morning was bountiful and delicious. I recommend Portica 10 absolutely!!!

We loved our stay here. The property is beautifully maintained and our room was comfortable and clean. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly and the Town Center with shops and restaurants is a short walk away. The breakfast each morning was delicious with many options available.
