「Very great stay 」

「It was a short drive from the airport. Vhecking was easy and the person at the check hut was great and helpful. Great view of the beach and a short walk across the beach to resturant. I enjiyed my overnight stay, the place was clean」

A short walk (500 yards) up a steep hill from the main strip in English Harbour provides amazing views of Nelson’s dockyard near enough to walk to all the restaurants and far enough away from the noise of the nightclubs so the only sound at night are the tree frogs chirping. Annie and Roger are super friendly, helpful and welcoming. 10/10 for staff. Simple but delicious breakfast served on the large terrace overlooking the sea completes the peaceful charm of this colonial style...

「Arrived at 10AM for check-in, although Many others were provided rooms before 3pm, we were delayed until 3:30Pm, and then provided a room with single bed, when double beds specifically reserved, and requested at check-in. Waited 3 hours for mattress for sofa to be delivered. Dinner reservations made with front desk, and confirmed. Were actually Not made with the restaurant, and again we waited extended period. Hotel is Nice, service was terrible. 」

「This property is what you pay for however I feel I spent way too much for what it was worth. I stayed here for 1 week. The food was average, they ran out of certain alcohols during my stay, there was no hot waterto shower and was not aware you had to pay extra for housekeeping services . I had ordered take out one night and had animals enter into my room via a large hole behind my toilet, the staff was rude and the locals felt they could just hang out on the property smoking cannabis all day. 「This one bedroom unit was very comfortable with an excellent mattress. The Boston airplane. The staff was wonderful.. there are restaurants and the grocery store within walking distance. We did not cook and stayed only one night.」

「I normally stay at Jolly Beach Resort when I come but decided to try Jolly Castle. The room was spacious and perfect for my stay. 」

「The property is in a lovely location, very quiet a a peaceful - you really need a car as nowhere nearby to get supplies, it’s basic, but immaculate and with everything you need. Sharon was very helpful, but we sadly we were unable to meet Gabriela and Douglas on this occasion, we had read such glowing reviews about them. (I hope you are feeling better, and hopefully we may get to come again and meet you). Deep bay is a 20 min walk and is just gorgeous. 」

「location was hard to find as you have to use the location given in Expedia. Place was in a nice quiet location. Areas of improvement: sink water was running very very very slowly. Need sink replaced. Toilet would run more often on the second/third day and having to manually hold the stopper down was too much. WiFi was spotty which could have been due to the location. Scenery was beautiful, management was responsive and helpful. Parking is also scarce. I would book again as a 5:6:7th option for...
