「Room was cleaned well everyday, the staff were lovely and attentive - they remember everything down to our daily breakfast drinks order. Nothing is ever a problem. The free shuttle to the town is great and always on time. The outdoor pool is massive and refreshing in the hot weather, with an indoor pool if required. Gym was a good size and had a good variety of equipment. Lots of options for food and drink」

Bit of an unpleasant first impression with security guard deciding whether he would let us in - travelling with my 16 year old and had confirmation that he was welcome but that information apparently never reached the gate. Main Property is beautiful but there is large parts of the hotel grounds which seems to be a building site/abandoned. I see now why they offer to drive you to gym/spa/indoor pool area! 「Where we stayed at the Oasis Camp was lovely. Clearly it was a newer addition to the Barcelo Resort and it was beautifully appointed and quiet. At night they would light a fire in the center of all the "tents" which made for a lovely atmosphere. Unfortunately, the rest of the Barcelo resort has gone somewhat to seed. It was clearly in it's heyday 20 years ago or so and not much has been done to improve on it since. There were multiple amenities (volleyball, tennis, lake) that weren't well...

「The main reception was spacious and clean however in the middle of June in 37 degree heat the air conditioning was never on. The dining hall which we paid all inclusive for also never had the air conditioning on, flies were a huge problem!. Not a huge variety in food, juice machine never worked and no fresh juice. The room was bright and spacious however the bathtub and toilet were old and stained and needed major updating. For a 4 star hotel no kettle or water bottles were provided....

「If you are looking for beautiful rooms, excellent staff, no need to rush to get your towel on a sun bed and peace and quiet then this is the hotel to stay in. From the moment we arrived until the moment we left the staff were so friendly and helpful. The sun beds are very comfortable. The pool has three different depths so good for a cooling dip.
