"Such a stunning property in a relaxing location. Just what we needed after an early morning train journey and visit to the temple. The host made our group of six very welcome and we enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere of the villa. The architecture is a credit to the owner, who designed and furnished it himself. "It was not quite what I expected. It was not 5 star by US standards, but it was ok. The mosquitoes were a bit much- having them in our bedroom and bathroom was annoying, but the staff did their best to help. Overall, it was ok, probably one of the better hotels in Kandy."
