The host made our group of six very welcome and we enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere of the villa. The architecture is a credit to the owner, who designed and furnished it himself. "It was not quite what I expected. It was not 5 star by US standards, but it was ok. The mosquitoes were a bit much- having them in our bedroom and bathroom was annoying, but the staff did their best to help. Overall, it was ok, probably one of the better hotels in Kandy."
