「酒店的位置刚好位于狮子岩和皮杜兰加拉山之间的森林中 因为修路的缘故，傍晚过去费了一番周折。 不过因为是在森林中与世隔绝， 所以住处周围到处都是野生动物的影子 各种壁虎蜥蜴、还有飞舞的萤火虫 我们是在不绝于耳的虫鸣中入睡的。 第二天一早去了酒店后面的皮杜兰加拉山 山顶的风光奇美，360度的云蒸霞蔚。 简直达到叫人击节赞叹的地步。」

「除了用餐准备时间太长外，几乎无可挑剔。 不知道为什么会把酒店名翻译成“象牙”，太误导了。这是奥利芬家族私邸改建的酒店。 酒店很多基础设施，都有150年历史。即便新配置的家具，多半也是安装殖民时期的风格配置的，所以一走进酒店就有穿越到十九世纪的感觉。 入住当天只有我们一行5人，所以两个管家服务的很周到。只是用餐准备的时间太长，从点餐到上前餐花了一个多小时时间，因为现点现做，后厨只有一个厨师和帮手的原因。这难免引起我们的不快，我们的不满弄得两位管家很紧张，反而让我们有些心不安。晚餐虽然准备时间很长，但做的很地道，于是把不满化作感谢，大家皆大欢喜。」

「We had an amazing stay here. The staff was exceptional and went far to help us out with everything. The room was large and clean and had an amazing view of the ocean. Hotel arranged a turtle snorkeling with a local guide that was a really good experience. The breakfast was good and we also had lunch at the hotel two days. We even got a christmas gift from the hotel staff on christmas day. One of the best and nicest places we have stayed in Sri Lanka, much thanks to the lovely staff and the...
