We stayed only for the night before our flight out but it is well-located so we could have a last walk into the historic center. When we couldn't be there for breakfast they prepared a carry out breakfast which was excellent. Beautiful rooms.

The Family Affair rooms are on the second floor of a mixed use block in an older building in an established area of Palermo. Only 15 mins walk to the cathedral. We had a lovely evening in a nearby wine bar on their recommended list and then had dinner in a fish restaurant nearby. Felt like we were amongst the locals rather than the tourists in the historical centre. Very easy to catch a bus back to the airport rather than the very expensive taxi we took on arrival. The accommodation is very boutique and the breakfast and staff were great.

This hotel is the best I have ever stayed. The hotel staff are super nice and helpful. They even packed an awesome breakfast for our next morning early flight without us asking for breakfast. The breakfast is five star hotel level. Food tastes very good. The hotel is small but their service is excellent. Highly recommended. The area is not within the crowded area which is very good for us. We feel safe and all the main attractions are walkable.

The hotel was excellent and very successful in delivering its unique concept. It is within walking distance of Palermo’s city center, about a 15-minute walk away. Since the city center is extremely crowded, we actually appreciated the hotel’s quieter location. It provided a peaceful retreat after spending time in the busy streets. The hotel is housed in a beautiful historic building with a distinctive character, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The only downside was the breakfast area. As we visited during the peak of summer, we found it to be a bit small and quite warm. Other than that, we had a very pleasant stay.

Breakfast was great. Location in Palermo was also very accessible, we were able to do street parking as we arrived Saturday and left Sunday. Many restaurants and shops within a quick walk. We stayed in the "small double room" and while it was very clean and comfortable for one night, if staying longer I would definitely opt for a larger space. Super cool property but a bit tricky to find the first time, made much easier by a daytime arrival.
