"The property is very run down. We had to switch rooms because our shower flooded the bathroom. Our coffee machine was broken in both rooms. When asking for things some staff rolled their eyes. There was no top shelf alcohol for preferred guests. Most food was bland. There wasn’t any way to tell if people were preferred guests. Anyone could go anywhere they wanted. We will never go back."

"A great property, with a well-balanced layout and activities. The only negative was the somewhat average food offered at all meals. There is room for improvement on that aspect, otherwise a lovely hotel. "

"This was my second time staying at Occidental and it was great. The food is good and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The resort is clean and well maintained. I am a certified diver and them having their own dock and dive shop is great. We will definitely be going back."
