「My first visit to Silverton and I'm so glad I chose to stay at The Avon! Loved the charm of this place, very fitting to the full experience of a mountain town at high elevation. The whole establishment was kept very clean, bathrooms are clean and stuffed with clean towels and toiletries, the kitchen/bar/living room area is very roomy. I stayed at one of the bunk rooms and I was pleasantly surprised how comfortable the bed was, with clean and soft bedding. Great job to Daniel, who runs this...

「Hotel and room are very charming, and the check-in/out process is very unique (no staff). The main draw back was that the only real amenity was the iced water jug, which was empty by 7:00 AM, and with no staff, there was no way to get it refilled. Loved the location, right in the middle of Silverton, which made dining and shopping convenient and enjoyable. Despite the water issue, it's definitely a very, very cool place to stay.」
