"Our stay at the Hilton in Hawaii was extremely disappointing, especially considering how much we paid. From the moment we arrived, the experience was off—there was no one there to greet or assist us, which immediately set the tone.
One of the biggest issues was the elevator system. It was completely disorganized and frustrating. You have to enter your floor into a kiosk, which then assigns you an elevator—but in reality, it was a hot mess. We waited nearly 20 minutes just to get upstairs because people were cutting in line and getting on elevators without even entering their floor. There was no staff around to manage the situation or help guests, which made it even worse.
Throughout our stay, it felt like there were barely any employees available. Customer service was essentially nonexistent, which is unacceptable for a hotel of this level. The hospitality was a zero for us and nothing like the experience we’ve had at other Hilton properties.
Another concern was the lack of supervision at the pools. No one was checking for wristbands or monitoring who was entering, so it seemed like anyone could walk in and use the facilities. For a resort that charges premium prices, this was very disappointing and felt unorganized and unsafe.
Overall, this stay did not meet expectations at all. We spent a lot of money and did not receive the level of service or experience we were expecting. Save your money and consider staying somewhere else."
