"This property requires you to have a QR code to check in. There arent any staff on site. It was fortunate that a guest nearby and let me into the foyer at 10:30 pm, otherwise I don't know what I would have done. But, their check-in system didn't recognize my reservation. No QR code was sent (I booked through Expedia). I did get it email with a guest identifier directly from Base Lausanne, so I thought that I was all set. However the ID didn't work, I had no QR code, and no one was able to solve the problem. After waiting for another hour for assistance, I opted to try a hotel with actual humans on site. My bad experience was made somewhat worse by receiving notification that they had billed my credit card, even though I couldn't stay there. I had customer service via telephone twice to resolve these problems and the charge was eventually credited back. I think that their staff are kind and helpful, but just stymied by not being on the ground to interact with the customers."

"Great place to stay, Fortunately came through for me when another hotel didn't honor my reservation !! Moxy is a 15 min walk from Gare du Lausanne and well within walking to a lot of great places within the city. The room was small but sufficient. Clean throughout, friendly & helpfull staff. Breakfast service was high content and good (nutritious options)."
