Awesome Golf Resort

We came to watch my daughter play her colligate golf game at The Preserve. The course was beautiful. The hotel is very well kept and the staff is very nice.

Short Staffed

Our stay was great! My only complaint is that they are very short staffed in the restaurant. We had to wait a long time for service and our food. And they were often out of what we had ordered. But the staff they did have, were very pleasant.

Honestly, we were impressed with what the resort has to offer in terms of activities & our kids enjoyed that part. We were extremely disappointed in the cleanliness - we found bags of food & kids sippy cups under our bed. There wére cigarette butts all over the property.

The food was wonderful, but none of the patio tables had been cleaned off when we arrived. That could have been due to it being the end of Labor Day weekend and being short of staff. Just a guess. We had excellent service from the staff that was there.

Planned to stay there for water park, website showed no issues, showed up for reservation, checked in and was THEN told after we asked that the waterpark was closed. Bathtub was dirty, refrig was stocked with someone elses stuff and almost have me someone else's room but another employee caught the mistake.

When we checked in the lady made us feel like she was justvthere because it is her job. Didn't see very personable. You would think what you pay for the rooms the price of food would be reasonable. It was expensive. There was not a lot to do for a couple there. We stayed in our room most the time. We paid extra for a lake view and we got a good view of unkept trees and a Porta Potty. We will not be back.

The Honey Creek $25 per day “resort” fee is ridiculous, a sham. The “resort” is an indoor pool, which is open only a few hours per day. It is an excuse to charge a higher rate. The hotel is shabby, wallpaper peeling off the walls, dirty carpets and rooms. The mattresses are all old, like hollowed out peanut shells, and need replacement. I had 2 rooms booked for several days, and had to request room changes for both. I will not stay here again or recommend Honey Creek to anyone.

This was the perfect vacation spot with our 3 year old!! Everything was in one place and we didn’t need to leave. We will be back every year! I do have some suggestions for management: -it would be great to receive a handout of all of the activities available at the property. We had no idea about the beach or bike rentals! And it would be helpful to know the hours of the waterpark and restaurant. -it would be awesome if the restaurant had an option for lunch sacks to allow guests to head down to the beach, have a picnic on the property, etc. -be thoughtful about rainy days. There is not much to do if it rains and the waterpark does not open until 11 am. Could you show movies in the event space? Or find a way to use that space to entertain littles?

I'm originally from Moravia but was in town so decided to stay there for the first time. It was quiet and staff were super nice. The one thing was the tub had rust all over it at the base. I did like having the main floor room where there was an exit door right to the outside so you didn't have to enter the lobby to come/go. Water pressure in the shower was amazing. Overall nice stay and I would stay there again if I was in town.

We got here and there were told water park isn’t open, so disappointing as that’s why we booked the night. The grounds were very pretty and so much nature. there’s EV charging which was awesome. our r was nice except we had asian beetles dead all over our window sills, soooo gross. we also found some in our room alive 😩. we won’t be back.
