"Please take in consideration the smells you use in the rooms, people do have allergies to certain smells. Last stay I did not notice such a strong odor from the room spray, this time it was so overwhelming I had to open my window before I could reenter my room. Still the best place to stay. Love the rooms, and all the luxuries for a reasonable price. Will return. "

"This is our third time staying at this resort and once again we were treated with kindness and respect and all of our needs were met and we had an oceanview without paying an ocean price and once again it was amazing. I recommend it to anyone coming to stay in the Newport area. It has everything you need."

"Lovely setting, staff, service and resturants outstanding. This resort does show it's age in regards to the rooms. We had not stayed here before and a little disapointed that we were so far from the pool. Salishan is perfect for family reunions or business conferences, but I really don't recommend for couples visits"
