Overall the hotel was nice, but the room was missing some small details that make the Holiday Inn what it's known for. The lobby was very nice. The hallway to the room was warm and had an odor. The room was EXTREMELY hot and the thermostat did not work. It was more of a window unit. The TV only had local cable and no option to use or watch streaming services. The closet doors could not open all the way since the floor was warped. The shower faucet would not turn off. We had to push and pull the handle in different ways just to get the water to stop. Other than that, it was a good stay. Details really do make the difference especially when you are paying these kinds of prices.

The staff was extremely helpful but the hotel rooms are a bit rundown and in need of a renovation. Our original room was damp and the area where the carpet met the tile was torn and some of the flooring tacks were sticking out. We stayed one of our two nights in that room. The second day we asked if they had another room for us being the room was so damp. It took several attempts as several of the other rooms were also damp. We did find one on the third attempt but in that room the toilet wouldn’t flush originally (we needed maintenance to fix it) and something was wrong with the pipes because the shower water only went from cold to super hot. We made due. The staff felt bad about the room switching and did offer us complimentary breakfast. The location is close to UCF. It was clean but I probably wouldn’t stay here again unless they updated and renovated the rooms.

The restaurant had awesome wings and pizza. Bar man was kind. Breakfast was great and we were in a hurry so the chef made our food super fast! The room could have used a Better cleaning job but it wasn’t bad. Shower had mold in the bathroom ceiling. Next to busy road but couldn’t hear the cars.

Room was fine, outdated but the bedding is comfortable and the A/C works great! Upon my arrival, I walked up to the check-in desk where an older gentleman stood. I was not greeted, so I said hello i’m here to check-in. Not very kindly he said he was not a front desk person and someone will come help me shortly. Later that evening I see the same man who said he was not a front desk helping someone check-in. The welcoming experience was not very welcoming or helpful at first.
