The room was fine . Some staff, were kind—but that’s where the positives end.
Before arrival, I asked for smth small for our child’s birthday—room decor or a gesture. Instead, I got a copy-paste offer of champagne, beer, and strawberries. I clarified, got the same reply again, and gave up. They also failed to manage a simple birthday cake.
The resort fee? For what? No decent dining, no quality service. We had to leave the property for every meal. The pool area was dirty—trash lying around for hours, towels unavailable, and the towel station a mess. When I complained, staff blamed the number of guests as if that excused anything.
The pool bar was the worst: 20-minute wait just to order, cold food, no napkins or utensils—we had to get them ourselves. Then they slapped on an 18% “service” charge. For what, exactly? And yes, they expected a tip on top of that.
We were given a one-time 20% food discount at check-in. Gave it to the waiter—it was ignored. Same story when I complained about service: management promised to waive one day of resort fees. But at checkout? Nothing removed. I had to show messages to prove it was promised.
The property has potential, and a few staff were genuinely nice. But poor management, fake “perks,” and dirty, aging facilities make this place a waste of money. It doesn’t look like the pictures and definitely needs renovation.
