"Fantastic lovely hotel. Parking does require valet service which was implemented for security purposes a few years ago so sometimes it gets backed up.
Good breakfast standard for Embassy suites. Check in was fast and all the hotel staff are friendly. One downside was that we did not have our room cleaned by housekeeping. Would definitely stay there again"
"It’s a cute property, comfortable rooms and kind staff, room service was not done during my stay but we knew that in advance. Would definitely recommend this hotel. "
"Stellar service, beautiful views from the gorgeous rooms, and we can't wait to celebrate future special family occasions here! Oh, and the breakfast room service was outstanding!"
"Absolutely loved our stay at The Royal Sonesta Portland Downtown. The lobby is a work of art—playful, stylish, and full of character. Our room was spacious, comfy, and felt like a true escape from the city bustle. The staff went above and beyond, making us feel genuinely cared for. Perfect location, gorgeous vibe, and a warmth you don’t often find in hotels. You can tell it’s an older building, with serious 1930’s charm beautifully blended with modern updates. Can’t wait to come back!"
"I had several packages for a conference shipped to the hotel prior to my arrival. The front desk staff was incredibly helpful with my collection of these materials and made a stressful trip much easier and more enjoyable!"
"This was a great hotel, the location was extremely convenient and very family friendly, the pool has an awesome kids area that my kids loved. Would definitely stay here again. "
