"This is a beautiful historic property. The room was clean and comfortable. The lobby area is beautiful and makes a great first impression when you arrive.
It would be good if you could get a hot drink in the lobby area after 11:00am, but I am just being picky. On the whole the hotel was lovely.
Unfortunately there are a lot of homeless people on the streets around the hotel some of whom seemed agitated and were shouting at us. My daughter and I did not always feel safe walking around, which was a shame as Portland seems like a beautiful city."
"It is a clean and beautiful hotel. The beds are wonderful and the rooms are very clean. Lots of towels and helpful amenities in the rooms. The wall paper is old and peeling. I would give the whole experience a 9/10"
"We had a wonderful week at this hotel. The decor was fabulous both in our room and in the common areas. Our room was clean and very spacious. All the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Special shout out to our breakfast host and valet Nadia :) We will definitely stay here again next time!"
"Front desk guy was friendly & helpful. Single Queen room small but perfectly comfortable for a single traveler & was spotlessly clean. Really liked the shampoo & conditioner. Free parking! Tight if you have a truck, but doable— just plan to park early & walk around."
