We got a one bedroom, with bathroom and kitchenette. Do not reserve this place through Expedia. Huge miscommunication on price and what was already paid for and what was not. Walking distance to the beach. Beds are a FULL. Must bring your sheets and toiletries. Good deal for the price.

Overall, kind of dissapointing. Great location... However, beds were hard and uncomfortable, the unit had 2 low ccu window AC units that NEVER cooled the 2 bedroom apartment... not to mention the fact that we were meeting friends there and were expecting a mid-level stay based on the pictures online, but the units DID NOT look like the pictires. Very old, dingy, and dirty. The whole apartment smelled like Marijuana... Plus one of the bed sheets had blood stains and we had to get our own covers.... Again, great location, right behind the boardwalk, but terrible experience staying here. Won't come back to this one. Super hot, super uncomfortable, super smelly.

The window AC units were not sufficient enough to keep the place cool. The kids room was incredibly hot. The windows had black mold on them. The room was supposed to have 1 double bed in one bedroom, a double bunk bed and a twin bed in the other room plus a double sofa bed. It only had a full and two twin beds in the entire unit. The furniture was very outdated, and it was also quite dirty and had stains all over it. Each room only had one outlet with surge protectors or room we had to unplug the AC to even plug in the surge protector not to mention the beds were very hard.

Great location !!!! Not even a minute walk to the beach, and at the start of the boardwalk and businesses. Very convenient , parked my truck when we got there and was able to do everything within walking distance for the 4 days there. Owners were very nice. Only complaints were second bedroom had no AC unit and it was unbearably hot . Had to go buy a fan to help a little . The beds and a pull out couch were really rough sleeping, at least in my unit. The one room with no AC they had bunkbeds but squeeked so much from the slightest movement and made noise throughout the apartment. The other bed was like a hotdog bun. It sank into the middle. Think about having a couple air mattresses packed in case. Overall, place served its purpose if you’re looking for great location and some time on the beach and just somewhere to shower and rest your head and not break the bank . If that’s the case then you’re good to go.

First, I was contacted by the manager asking for the payment to be made cash or money order or I would have to pay a $40 for paying with a credit card. Second, the distribution of the property is incorrect, it says it sleeps 17, it might sleep 10comfortably. Third, the bathroom door in the front of the apartment needs a new handle, when u go in u get stuck and u will need someone to open it for u from the outside. Forth, the apartment was not clean, I belive they do not change the bedding between customers. They asked us to bring our own bedding, they should ether keep the bed without any bedding or change the bedding and the customer can their own as well. Fifth, there is mold on the shower door.

We were very happy with the comfort of the bed, the friendliness of the owner, and the location couldn't be beat. We had the 2 bedroom apt and they even gave us a first floor apt due to us being older with mobility issues.

The night we checked in we got a phone call at 1015 saying we had to move the next morning because they put us in the wrong room. We have four small children and a weeks worth of groceries that we now had to pack up and move. They didn’t call us the next day until 1230 to tell us we had to be out by 230 and we were already at the beach enjoying our vacation. They refused to give us any discount for their mistake and told us we were an inconvenience because now they had to clean the room they put us in. Our new room had 1 less bed than we were told and the pull out couch was broken and dangerous if not pulled out very carefully. The room had hair from previous occupants and there were coffee grounds all over the counters. Will never stay here again.

The location was a 30 second walk to the beach and boardwalk. The owners were pleasant. The apartment was clean and spacious. Overall it was a great stay and we would go back again

Not bad property as house was older but had updates. Has window A/C units and you bring your own sheets to sleep on. Location is great, one block off the boardwalk and easy walk to the beach. Would stay here again as it’s not as expensive as other properties close to the boardwalk.

They have a few properties in OC. We got a room at the beachfront house with a city view. While it was nice to be at a beachfront house, the apartment itself was not good at at- it wasn’t a deluxe room we ordered and was very outdated and not clean. Would not recommend.

My experience staying at The Nock apartments was one of my worse stays ever. The 4 bedroom apartment’s refrigerator and stove was not the best. The stove was small and the refrigerator had cancer spots. The apartment had blinds that should have been changed prior to my arrival and the water to wash dishes and shower had to run for about 20 minutes and the water still was not hot it was lukewarm. Outside on the porch ceiling had holes. I give the place a 4 rating and I left a day early because I just was not satisfied and also because I was not allowed to use their wifi as per their son because it’s personal for the office only. I really needed to use the wifi as I had explained to the owner on a very important court case and due to not having wifi the matter was thrown out. Again not a good place to stay.
