Ocean City is peaceful in the off season, it's nice to be able to walk on the boardwalk without the crowds, have a nice pool and hot tub at the hotel to relax in. There are still enough good restaurants you can go to, and also outlets you can go to

This visit at this time of year was perfect for me. Some of the businesses were closed but enough was open to enjoy my stay and boardwalk leisurely stroll. There were people around but it was not crowded. The weather was on the cool side but nice.

Ocean City is a wonderful place to visit for the young and ild. Lots of places to shop and dine. The beach is wonderful and very clean. Lots of things to do from boardwalk , boat rides, sailing, carnival, fishing, dolphins, etc. Annual visit must.

OCMD has a really nice mix of tourist attractions and businesses that provide a lot of positive energy along the boardwalk. It was very safe, lots of good restuarnts and things to do. Also, it's close to Rehoboth and Bethany in DE for day trip.

Too much traffic for this size of town. Very difficult to get too if you're used to the midwest and plenty of interstates. Very cute seaside community. Beautiful beaches and boardwalk. The beach bus is very affordable and takes you everywhere.

The boardwalk is always open. On a sunny winter day most times it's walkable except for high winds. Most local restaurants are open on weekends. Some like Coins on 28th street (one of our favorites) are open year round, closed on Tuesdays

We had a great time exploring the OC - played tourist on the boardwalk, walked the beach (waves were huge), had drinks at Fin City Brewery (very cool spot), checked out Secrets Distillery, TapHouse and recommend SaltWater75!

It's an older beach resort with an awesome boardwalk. Lots of invasion by undesirable chain restaurants and stores, but plenty of unique small businesses to be found. Skip Dunkin Donuts and go to Laytons.

Ocean city used to be more family friendly. The boardwalk is not as nice as it used to be. Parking is difficult. We've been going to Ocean City for over 50 years. Restaurants are crowded so go early.

I love going to Ocean City in the off season! It's less expensive, no crowds and it's very peaceful and quiet! I usually go by myself, and I really enjoy the alone time and can do whatever I want!
"This was my first stay at Dunes Suites and it will not be my last! I enjoyed my ocean front room with kitchenette. Staff was very friendly and house keeping arrived within minutes of me requesting extra towels and blankets. Property was very clean. Easy access to the beach and much less crowded than other parts off the boardwalk. "
"The Wellington exceeded our expectations for an inexpensive hotel. It was less than 2 minutes to walk to the beach and boardwalk. The room was updated and clean, but had blinds on the one window and a light outside of it so it was never fully dark. It is also not accessible for anyone who cannot do stairs. That was fine for us, but could be an issue for others. They also have a narrow parking lot so anyone with an oversized vehicle would need to find somewhere else to park The beds were super soft. All of the staff was helpful and friendly. Housekeeping came every day with fresh towels and anything we needed. Great experience overall."
