「The AKA is very centrally located for downtown WPB - if you are just a business traveler who will never be in the room this might be a good choice. I have stayed here for work twice, and although the location is very convenient. The AKA feels way more like a dorm than a "elevated" or "luxury" hotel - two words that are used frequently on the website. The rooms have vinyl floors that have seen better days, They look warmer and more wood toned on the website photos but in reality they are grey....

「You can't beat the location! Easy to walk to City Place if you like to shop, and fabulous Etaly Restaurant. If you are not a walker, the Hotel provides a fun Golf cart shuttle to drop and pick you up from your destinations. The driver is very knowledgeable about the area and makes the ride super fun. We had him drop us at the beach, the famous Worth Ave on Palm Beach for shopping and nighttime dining. Way more fun than Uber! Our Dog-ter loved the attention from the charming, hospitable staff....

「It’s a very old hotel, there were no blankets available, TV had very few channels, the volume didn’t work and the outlet behind the TV looked unsafe and could start a fire! The carpet had a tear in it, the lock on the glass door was loose and it also had a bar to secure the door. Parking was very limited and tight. Would not recommend staying there and we won’t be back!」

「The stay was pleasant and the amenities were very useful. We used the dryer, bought some ice cream, used the beach chairs and played cornhole. I would stay again! The communication was great and the flat was very clean.」

「The front desk service was excellent with fast checkin. However, the beds are not comfortable at all and the rooms do not get very cool. The bathroom was dirty upon arrival.」
