「The Lodge and Lantern had come under new management just 3 days before and they did a wonderful job! The beds were great, the rooms were clean and the people were very courteous and friendly. I would love to go back some time and see everything the new owners have done to the place!」

「The town and services are just on the other side of the river. Located just 2 miles down a well kept, dirt road, the lodge is secluded and quiet. Beautiful lodge with a grand open area with fireplace and sitting rooms. Breakfast was self serve and abundant. Very clean, everyone is asked to remove your shoes before entering the lodge, with slippers available. Definately recommend!」

「Staying in this place was very comfortable. Nice place for both short and long term vacation. We got a penthouse for 5 day staying. 2 bedroom with 2 bathroom was great for couples or family. Although the location was about 15 minutes uphill from the Golden town but the view was totally worth it. We didn't have time to try all the facilities in the place recommended by the staff. Overall, this was a great place if you travel to Banff or Jasper.」

「The kind staff, cozy bed, hot water, clean room, and convenience kitchen make us so comfortable. There are IGA, save-on-food near by the hotel, just take a few minutes away by car.」
