A purely peaceful stay with a wonderful atmosphere. Close to nice places to eat and things to do. The facility was perfect for singles/couples and a wonderful chefs breakfast was a great start to the day. The only drawback was the mosquitoes made being outside impossible, bit hardly the hosts fault. Beautiful setting and a real get away.

The lodge is lovely and the staff were great but unfortunately there was a storm that caused a power outage and apparently a small fire up the road. The staff did everything they could including starting generators for the toilet but there was water restrictions implemented by BC Hydro. Fortunately the fire was extinguished quickly but we felt very informed by staff. Bad timing on our part and no fault of the lodge - just not the experience we thought we were going to have. The lodge owners kindly refunded a portion of the fee we paid, so that was nice.

Great property, that's well taken care of. The property is more of a shared house rather than a hotel type accommodation. You don't have access to microwave or any of the kitchen amenities after 10:00 PM. The doors to the back porch is closed at 11,12 PM. It is more of a fancy hostel than a nice hotel. You don't have much privacy as you are able to hear neighbouring rooms. The rooms and doors are not sound proof like a typical hotel. If you don't mind sharing a large home with all of the other guests, it's a great place to stay. Nice views as well.

The room was very cozy and clean. I really enjoyed having a patio and being able to use the hot tub. It seemed like we were the only ones staying in the main lodge, so we got breakfast and hot tub use all alone! The breakfast and coffee were also amazing. We are definitely coming back next year!
