"Outdated in a bad way. We were expecting an older look, maybe early 1900s but we got the early 1990s and 2000s. Floor tiles in the bathroom were cracked. Toilet seat paint was worn off. Big patch in the ceiling unfinished. Laminate floors in the room were very worn down. The place needs some money invested into it. The view from the room was interesting. We just couldn't wait to finish our 2 night stay."

"A long road trip to Maine required an overnight stay to break up the drive. I chose Colby Hill Inn over any chain hotel for its promising charm, mostly and restaurant. The building is old and dated but therein lies its charm. Rooms are clean and the beds very comfortable. There are parlors on the first floor where a TV can be found.
