「No signage for check in office. Looked like a doofus while staff just stared at us. Then to find out our jacuzzi was not functional. Else did get it fixed and finally was able to comp our drinks for the second day of our stay. Said it was adults only yet there were people with babies crying on the beach day beds. Also the locals who keep trying to sell you things on the beach were the worst! Killed the relaxed vibe for sure」

「Staff was amazing...especially the restaurant staff. Food was okay... portions were good. Bed was very uncomfortable but the room location was great. Pool area was nice...but could use a good cleaning. Very limited options for places to stay around there.」

「Tout était impeccable ; la chambre, la piscine,… Impossible de se sentir plus dans la jungle qu’à cet endroit! C’était magique de prendre son café dans le hamac ou se laver dans la douche extérieure. Le déjeuner était succulent et différent des « classiques » du coin. La plage de Samara était à 5 minutes de voiture: toujours facile de se stationner. Honnêtement, la tranquillité valait la distance. Excellent service, très accommodants. J’ai tout adoré!!! Merci」

「Latica lodge was amazing to stay at! If you’re looking for that community vibe then this should be on the top of your list. Everyone from all over the world staying there, all having breakfast/supper together was spectular. The owners are everyday people willing to help you out with everything they made the stay so enjoyable. It’s definitely off the beaten path, I would recommend having a 4x4 vehicle to tackle the roads getting there and getting around. There’s a couple amazing beaches (best we...
