This hotel is a subpar facility and I would think twice before ever staying here again. My first two nights were a complete disaster, requiring three room changes due to serious issues that should never occur in a properly managed property. In the first room, the bed was uncomfortably hard—like sleeping on a brick—and the TV did not work. In the second room, the TV still did not work, the toilet was broken, and the air conditioning stopped working - and they had to bring me a fan to cool the room. I have to go through all it is before finally being moved into a decent room. Unfortunately, the problems didn’t end there. That same evening at dinner, I was harassed by the general manager, Javier, becasue he said dinner was not included in my package. Even if there had been confusion, given everything I had already experienced, basic hospitality would suggest offering a complimentary meal or accommodation as a gesture of goodwill, which never occurred. Any reputable hotel would have made a genuine effort to correct these issues and ensure a positive guest experience after so many disruptions. This hotel did not. Because of this experience, I would not recommend staying here and would strongly encourage travelers to consider other hotels to avoid similar frustrations and a comfortable hotel stay.

La experiencia en general fue buena. El hotel ofrece una muy buena alimentación, con opciones agradables y bien preparadas. La habitación es cómoda, de buen tamaño y cuenta con una vista espectacular, especialmente hacia la playa, que es sin duda uno de los mayores atractivos del lugar. Como punto a mejorar, considero que la limpieza tanto en los alrededores del hotel como dentro de la habitación podría ser mejor, ya que en algunos momentos no estuvo al nivel esperado. En resumen, es un hotel con gran potencial, excelentes vistas al mar y buena comida, que con una mejora en la limpieza podría ofrecer una experiencia mucho más completa.

We had a room on the ground floor and ended up getting lots of ants in the room throughout our stay. The rooms were fine, but quite small (we were two adults and two children). There was a lot of noise at night from the restaurants, music, people etc so it was hard for our kids to sleep. The property was really nice with two pools and close proximity to the beach but it was large with lots of hills so you need to use a shuttle which often had a wait as it didn't come as frequently as it was needed. Our stay included 3 meals at the restaurant which was buffet style. There were a lot of flies, birds flying around and cats in the restaurant. The food was just okay with a lot of repetition, both day-to-day and meal-to-meal.

Nice property, but booking through Expedia doesn't mean you're getting a Villa. In fact, dont plan on it. The main hotel is ok but loud. The 2 beds in my room were awful for the price. I lived in CR for 2.5 years- i would know.

The person we checked in with seemed to be very rude with every interaction we had. The rooms were not sealed very well as outside noise seemed like it was inside. There was a shuttle that came through every 15 minutes or so and was very loud and would sometimes honk its horn. That started very early and went pretty late. Coffee was only provided in our room the first day and we could buy it but we had to call. Our phone was broken in our room and the WhatsApp that was provided took 48 hours to respond and said we needed to call another number that actually never responded. We had to call for an inspection of our room prior to check out. We messaged both WhatsApp number to schedule with no response. The front desk at day of checkout was very kind and helpful and did expedite the process even though we werent able to follow the call ahead procedure due to our broken phone. The restaurant was buffet only and there was absolutely not direct beach access as described in the description. The view was nice but I would not recommend this spot.

Half of the people on the property the employees they don’t speak English every night. We will lock our door patio door and put our suitcase to the door, but still the raccoons keep coming in and eating up our things. Come to realize that the back door could not be locked.The beach was dirty with black sand there wasn’t that much option for the food breakfast lunch, and dinner. I didn’t even get in the water. And it’s because of the water I booked this property. If I would come to Costa Rica again, I would definitely go to a different city not this city Liberia.
