「Upon arrival the property looked very well maintained. Entering the building everything was clean and looked very new. Professionally checked in, and asked if we needed anything. Room was surprisingly large, and bed was better than we expected. Bathroom was well stocked, and loved the way the shower curtain was artfully placed. 「We stayed here for one night in late June, 2026. Old school Motel, but up to modern standards. The manager was very responsive and kind. Unfortunately, we had to contact her at 2:00am (I felt bad waking her up) and she answered immediately on the first ring. The one question that is really the only important question is: would I stay there again? The answer is yes.」

「Nothing unique about the Super8 in Muscatine,IA. The desk clerk had to be found when we got there-took about 20 min. Then he was hard for my husband to understand when trying to check in. Only room available was a 2 bed one, not a real problem but why doesn’t Expedia communicate with the motel you book with? They had no idea of cost, room, nothing. Thankfully I had our online confirmation!」

「Would have loved to stay a few days and explore more. We stopped overnight during a roadtrip for a great price on Expedia with a river view room. Very clean hotel and rooms. The only exception was the shower curtain was not up to par for Hyatt Hotels. I forgot to take a photo but it was clearly used a lot and not cleaned thoroughly with a few red mildew spots on it. 「This would've been a five star review but for the postage stamp size pillows. If you don't mind sleeping on a throw pillow great! But if you want something bigger this isn't the place for you. The hotel could at least provide a variety. One woman who asked for a regular size pillow never got it」

「Nice room and staff. Sadly didn't realize 2 levels so we got upper floor and elevator. Husband very limited on walking, climbing so it was a challenge and I needed to carry out bags upstairs.
