My wife and I planned to stay here for 3 nights but checked out early after we came back on the second night to find our door open from where someone entered our room while we were gone. This property does not offer turnover service until after guests check out, so it could not have been housekeeping. When we brought it up to the desk agent, she suggested the wind blew it open, as if we wouldn't have made sure it was closed when we left for the day. When we checked out the next morning because we didn't feel safe leaving our things in the room again, the same agent was dismissive about it and refused to refund the third night. I'm not saying it was the agent, but I am saying she was the only person we saw working there, and she knew we took a cab into town for the day. If you decide to stay here, make sure to take anything valuable out of the room with you.

Our staff does several walks around the property throughout the day to ensure the property is secure and while we understand your concern, due to strict policy our staff do not enter a guest's room without notifying the guest or in case of an emergency on the property.

This motel is pretty good for the price. There were a few places that had some dirt, but it didn't bother us too much. The room was nice and the shower was pretty high-end! The front desk woman was absolutely excellent! She came to assist us in a matter of seconds, even late at night. She was so sweet and helpful. I would not recommend staying here if you don't have a car. Newport doesn't have much public transportation and our Uber app couldn't find any drivers in the area. To get food, we had to walk next to a busy and loud highway. Overall, I would recommend this hotel for its cheap price and quality.

The room was mostly clean but the bathtub had hair from a previous tenant and some residue from a shampoo bottle - it didn’t look like it had been thoroughly cleaned. The sheet on the bed also had a bright pink stain on it. The biggest problem was the lack of carpet on the floors and the noise created by that. Having been on the first floor with someone directly above me one night, it was very disruptive. I could hear their tv playing all night; whenever they dropped something (which happened periodically through the night and woke me every time!) or dragged the chair or walked around in their shoes, there was nothing to absorb the noise and it was loud. I got very little sleep my second night there due to this. I did call to complain the following morning and requested a room switch, the staff were nice about it, but niceness can’t muffle the sounds between rooms. I would imagine this issue has been complained of before and I was a bit baffled why, in a mostly vacant motel, they would put someone directly above me. Due to the noise during the night, I missed some events I was there for the next morning as I was too tired and needed a nap after the person above me checked out. Because of this I would not stay here again. Really really need to put some carpet down, at least on the second floor.

Had we had known about the cleanliness issue of your room we would have taken care of this right away as this is not our standard and we don't want any of our guests having this experience that you shared her. We do our best to stagger our guests to make sure there is no disruptions during their stay and if any disruptions do occur we try to take care of them as soon as possible. The motel parking lot had a large camper with a broken out window and people inside parked just below our room. It made us feel a bit unsafe when coming and going to The man at the office counter refused to check us in at the time listed on our reservation. He said that Expedia had the check in time wrong and we would have to wait "at least another hour" He mentioned that the people at Expedia refuse to update the check in time The room itself was nice and clean. The beds were comfortable and the TV was big. We would stay here again because of the nice clean room and the price.

The outside looks old and needsxwork, which i understand they are going to do soon. The rooms have been very recently remodeled. Everything is new and in excellent condition. Very good value for the price.

dont judge a book by its cover
As others have mentioned...the outside of the building looks very rundown but when you open the door to your room be ready to be pleasantly surprised. Room was very clean and other than a coffee maker had everything I needed.

Very nice rooms on the inside. But warning if you are choosing this hotel to save money they take a $200 deposit when you arrive! I thought that was pretty high for a motel and did not expect that.

Inexpensive but comfortable.
The exterior is very sketchy. If you can get beyond that, the room is actually nice and it's comfortable. It was clean and the bed was good. There is a fair bit of traffic noise, and the motel is right in front of a hospital so be prepared for sirens. For a place to crash for the night without spending a fortune, Money Saver works.

This place is awful. We did not even check in and canceled our reservation without a refund. Driving up it was in disarray and the front desk was filthy. The rooms stated they were remolded but the ones we saw, since the doors were all open, we’re not.

It doesn’t look like much when you arrive, but the rooms are remodeled very nicely and are very clean. The staff, Mary and Tory (?), were very nice, though there’s a sign in the office that says they do not service the rooms during your stay due to Covid. If you want towels, you take your dirty ones in and exchange for clean, ask for more toilet paper if needed, take your own trash to the dumpster, etc. I stayed for a week and my room sure could have used a good cleaning after 4 days or so. At the end, I was told I could have had a cleaning upon request, but that was not on the sign and no one mentioned that earlier. Regardless, super nice staff, clean remodeled room, decent location, and one of the least expensive places in town. And I hear they’re planning to give the exterior a face-lift soon as well.

For a last-minute, Friday-summer-night reservation, this motel beat our expectations. The outside is older, and it's right on Hwy. 101. Don't let that bother you. The rooms are very clean and nicely updated, with clean hard floors instead of questionable carpet. The bed was very comfortable and the room was quiet. We slept very well. (We were on the back side of the motel; the front may be louder.) Safe parking for a truck and trailer on the street right outside our window, by the hospital. No coffee option at all in the room was a bummer, and there wasn't any in the lobby. The desk clerk who checked us in was very friendly and helpful. Shower in room was powerful and hot. Altogether a good stay. Would visit again.

2 or 3 years since last stay there and it was much 'nicer'. Looked like the room had been updated. Came with a small microwave and refrigerator/freezer. Only downside was no coffee service. Overall, a decent high value place to spent a night. I was put off by the $175 deposit after paying for the room online. Now I need to make sure it gets refunded.

Where to start. There was no working wifi. Very bright lighting directly in Front of room window. Shower barely functioned. Rooms are not insulated well you could hear every room and shower around you. Motel is directly next to highway and at about 4:30 am is roaring. Would not recommend if you need a good night sleep.

Don’t be fooled by the outside - the rooms inside are new and spacious. No carpet and comfortable bed. Nice bathroom. Don’t plan on using the Wi-Fi. our cell coverage worked fine.

From outside it doesn't look like much, but inside rooms are very modern renovated and clean. My biggest problem was no internet. I called asked to reset, they politely answered but nothing happen. Internet is most important for travelers! Secondary problem was highway noise, that starts early morning.
