A good nights stay in this hotel. Staff very good. Room had great views over the Tyne and bridges - but was a little 'tired'. Bed was comfy. Good breakfast and parking was easy. Received free parking and a couple of complimentary drinks as a VIP member

Last minute booking through Expedia. First time booking here and it was a lovely hotel. Clean and fresh. Very traditional rooms not over modern. Bathrooms a little dated but nothing to worry about. Quiet night great sleep and were given 2 free drinks for celebrating outmr anniversary

Was expecting a proper river view if the room is described as having a “river view”. Not quite the same if you have to squash your head against the window to see it. Apart from that nice room and hotel.
