Lovely clean room, very quiet even when music is happening in the bar downstairs. Perfect location with light rail right outside. Staff were great & super accommodating, we really felt that they wanted us the enjoy our stay.

I love staying at The Lucky!. The staff are excellent, always happy to assist and always cheerful. The rooms are great, especially for pub accommodation, and there is a nice lively restaurant in the central atrium. Location is perfect.

Elegantly cool. A truly lovely stay at this centrally located gem. The room was beautiful, with charming, quirky interiors that gave the hotel so much character. The staff were attentive and welcoming throughout my stay. The bed was extremely comfortable, dressed in luxurious linen, making for a great night’s sleep. The supply of tea, coffee and bottled water was a nice touch. The courtyard bar is stunning and a perfect spot for dining or enjoying a drink. Highly recommended.

The staff are wonderful. The room was clean and very fine. The hotel is in a heritage building and has old school charm while being very modern and clean on the inside. It's perfect for a few days.

We were lucky to find and stay at Lucky Hotel. We couldn’t fault anything about our overnight stay. The hotel was well presented and appeared newly renovated. Our room was comfortable, quiet and well appointed. We were very happy with our stay, and will stay again when next in Newcastle

Surprisingly a wonderful renovated chic hotel room. With double glazed windows, you wouldn't know you were above a funky pub. Amazing front desk service that gave us a 10% voucher to breakfast at an Amazing cafe called Neighbours. Will definitely stay there again whenever in Newcastle!

Stayed for 2 nights and had a lovely stay. The room was very clean and newly renovated. Very friendly staff, great location! One thing to note.. the room I was staying in was facing the main road so there were traffic/tram noises throughout the day and night.. however the noise isn’t as loud once the balcony door is shut.

Staff is the heart of this hotel. They are very accommodating, polite and friendly. If you find an issue and report it, you will receive vouchers for your favourite drink. A beer or a botte of wine. The pub area is a visual experience and very coasy.

Sadly the stay did not start off well being notified that the air conditioning was not working properly. This was the last time we were disappointed the amazing staff were honest and up front, they let us check out the room and make sure it wasn’t going to be too hot for our stay. They also offered complimentary drinks and a meal for the inconvenience which only made the stay even more awesome. The hotel is lovely, great location and close to every thing you need to experience Newcastle at its best.
