We really enjoyed our stay! The location was wonderful, beds and room comfy, and the food was outstanding! The breakfast was incredible!!! I’d definitely stay again when in the area!

Nice property, very clean. Nice staff. Would stay here again. Greta location for Highclere Castle and Stonehenge.

Excellent accommodations and restaurants. Dinner and drinks out on the terrace is perfect.

This roadside pub with inn above was so convenient for my stopover to Highclere Castle, it’s a shame I didn't have more time there. The staff is friendly, the room is comfortable and quiet, the shower has great water pressure.

Staying at Ye Olde Red Lion was a fun experience. It is probably the most unique place I've stayed with its blending of old, old and new and updated rooms. I would stay here again. We were in Arran Room which was very nice other than the mattress should be replaced. It is uncomfortable. The outside grounds need some cleaning and TLC, too. (There had just been a big storm/rain which might account for some of the mess and debris around the grounds.) Overall, an interesting stay with great...

Excellent location, lovely room, great food. Wo derail staff and very helpful in arranging taxis, etc.

Loved our stay at the Crab & Boar, a quintessential English country inn. The staff is friendly, easygoing, quite helpful and even went above and beyond for us. Dave and Tammy were fantastic. The food was quite good. Prices seem reasonable. Drive to close by Newbury is a short distance. Very nice and handy Speedy Queen launderette in town. Quiet but for the occasional car whizzing by. Being from the USA and driving for the first time in the UK, the location on Wantage Road and pulling in and out...

Lovely and remote-feeling property. Great gym and spa. Very good food options. Nice rooms - got a hot, hard to open windows!

Visited in from the states first time in Newbury UK and if I were to come back, I would come back to this hotel every single time the beds were amazing. The staff was wonderful and it is just a hop away from local shopping and a beautiful park 10 out of 1000 would definitely stay here again!!!!!

Lovely town, very close to Highclere Castle. Short drive to restaurants. On site Pub is good. They didn't serve food the night we were there, but otherwise a nice place.

We enjoyed our stay at the Dolphin. Friendly staff, great bar and dinner was amazing.

Excellent facilities including spa, pool and golf course with good dining and excellent buffet breakfast. Very attentive and helpful staff. Easy access to London with fast trains and also to M4. A good choice of central and quiet location to visit central southern England ( Oxford, Winchester, Salisbury,

Close to where I needed to be.

Very friendly and helpful staff. High end Bosch coffee maker in my room but I needed a demonstration to learn how to make it work (it made excellent coffee for a machine). Breakfast is cereal they give you the evening before: there's no cooked breakfast. Small hotel and no one is on-site in the morning for check-out: you leave your key in the lock. Dinner was good. Took three attempts to get the wifi to work and you have to sign up with sky to get it (it's free but I dislike handing over an...

Bad crack in wash basin General needs bit of maintenance Feel £100 is a bit much considering the above

Great value and a great breakfast.
