I am upset to report that at no time during our stay but for a short time in the late afternoon, during our 2 night stay, did we have hot water. We were offered another room, but maintenance said it was a hotel wide issue. We heard the same from another guest. And to call the front desk, I had to use my personal cell phone as the room phone did not work.
I was offered $40 compensation or 5000 Hilton points, which I declined as I paid far more that that and 2 of the 3 of us were unable to shower. A full night refund is in order here as that’s what I book a room for….a place to sleep and shower. Worst part was that there was no manager on site for me to work this out with before I left and now that they have my money and I’m gone, I doubt this will be properly rectified.
They know this is an issue yet don’t tell people prior to booking. False advertising if you ask me
