Inexpensive, Quite and good location

I choose to stay at this particular motel because it was within walking distance to Gabriel's. The venue for my friends party. Since i was going to be drinking, i didn't want to drive. But what i didnt know was it is a motel where displaced people go using a voucher. I was a little concerned after realizing this, however, i had absolutely no issues at all. The room was nice and clean. And my car was safe, as so was i walking to and from Gabriel's. I always say, you get what you pay for. I have no complaints about my stay!

Even though the staff was nice and friendly. This place is the worse place I have ever stayed at. I know it's a cheap motel but, I think it's got more to do with location. I have stayed at other Motel 6 and the surroundings and the appearance was great. But this one was horrible and our room had a very strong smoke smell. The shower curtain wasn't on it was thrown in a corner of the room. Not enough towels or toilet paper. Bed sheets had like cigarette holes and suspicious stains. Unfortunately we had to extend our stay one more night and they charged us almost the same amount we had paid for 2 nights.

Pay for room to sleep but sleep in your car

There was a very strong marihuana smell in the hallway that seeped to the room. Room looked clean, bathroom looked clean. Not my choice of place but it was a last minute booking (a few hrs earlier). Middle of the night (about 2 am) my husband starts coughing non stop; he had to leave the room bc his face started swelling. He does not suffer from any kind of allergies. He never gets ill. We paid for a room but he had to sleep in the car outside, while a brawl was taking place in the room right in front of where he parked. We were informed place was sold out so they could not give us a different room. Morning staff was professional and apologetic and told us manager would call us. It has been 9 days since check out and I am still waiting for the call.

Honestly speaking, I came here last minute for a funeral. I had to travel on a budget with my dog and they allowed pets to stay for free. The beds, toilet, sink and shower were freshly clean but the room floor was not swept. There were many roaches coming about. I did not bring my belongings in the room. Kept everything in the car and brought in as needed. The area is fine. You can tell people live at the motel and your usual activities are going on. Non of the guest were troublesome though. I do appreciate being able to freely smoke without judgment from other guests. Its was pretty quiet, and the outside area fairly clean. If they get rid of the roaches they would be 5-star in my opinion.
